When Technology Meets Reintegration

At Dome Union Foundation, we have long believed that technology — when thoughtfully applied — can open pathways that traditional approaches alone cannot reach.

We are currently exploring how AI-powered creative tools can support individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration. Our focus is not on replacing existing rehabilitation programs, but on complementing them with new opportunities for creative expression, skill development, and social recognition.

This work is part of a broader research initiative that we have submitted to the International Corrections and Prisons Association's peer-reviewed journal, Advancing Corrections. We believe that cross-sector collaboration — bringing together technology, community organizations, and correctional services — offers the most promising path for sustainable reintegration.
